FAE – Fusion of Art and Education
Danza Duende is a practice that encourages people to be present in the moment and allow themselves to express their feelings and emotions through movement. This approach proved to be extremely powerful with a group of women who rarely have the opportunity to dedicate time and space to themselves and the care of their mental and physical wellbeing. They worked on their self-expression, self-confidence and self-consciousness and found strength in the group do to so. The sisterhood created over the course of the residency allowed them to feel free, to be in the safe space where deep work on the self can happen. It was therapeutic for them.
